We are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience selling websites, SEO and related digital services to small business.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to engage with small business owners or decision makers and sell them new websites, along with SEO and digital strategy services. This candidate must be focused and have strong communication skills, an understanding of the website development industry and have experience selling or working with digital marketing. They should be able to think critically when making plans, be well organized, and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
- Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
- Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to management
- Follow-up with prospects after proposals are sent
- Guide new clients through the on-boarding process
- Engage with clients as their projects are being developed
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
- Meet and / or exceed quotas
- Coordinate with other team members to optimize the sales effort
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
- 2+ years experience selling website development to small businesses
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Details & Income Expectations
Potential candidates will not need to do any website development of any sort, this is strictly a business development and sales / client management role. An existing understanding of WordPress and the overall website development process, including organizing and acquiring content, would be beneficial and is recommended.
The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and able to target clients and verticals on their own; as well as setting own appointments, qualifying clients and ongoing client follow-up.
Position Type and Income Expectations
This position will initially be a 1099 contractor position with an opportunity for W2 employment after achieving consistent production goals. This role is commission based, plus generous bonuses based on the number of quarterly sales and total quarterly sales volume.
Annual income expectation: $50,000 – $80,000+
